The Sting of a Shot

Every parent knows the pain of watching a kid scream when the nurse or doctor (or pharmacist) gives a vaccine shot or draws blood. It's no better when the kid is screaming because he doesn't understand the limits that need to be set on his behavior and the only way to show him is to make sure there are consequences (i.e. punishments) every time he crosses the line.
